GFRC

Glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC or GRC) is the term for concrete reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fibers.
Usually, GFRC consists of portland cement, sand, glass fibers and a thermoplastic copolymer admixture. The
thermoplastic copolymer admixture retians moisture in the mix to facilitate proper curing. Admixtures such as
waterreducers, accelerators, retarders and air-entraining agents may also be used in GFRC mixes.

Alkali-resistant glass fibers contain high amounts of Zirconia. Zirconia is what creates alkali resistance in glass. The higher the zirconia content the better the resistance to alkali attack.
